coughing team

there was one time that practically the whole team was sick with cough and the flue.. so what boss did was to get whatever cough-drops that were available for the whole team! so nice! hahaha...

everyone was grateful as there is no need to go looking for lozenges and buying them from the shop downstairs... we have them just a few steps away from our cubicle!

fortunately, the team got well and we're back in full force!! GOOOOOooooo DLINKERSsssssss!

Max @ Tingkat Tong Shin

the team was REALLY hungry during dinner on the 10th of Nov... why? well... dinner was supposed to be at 8.30pm.. but SOMEone came late.... (he's not in the pics here... heheh - sorry Damon! .. ooppss!)

dinner was at Max Kitchen and wine, it was one of our so-called monthly team outings and this time we treated ourselves to FINE dining dinner.. but because of our nature... do you think we can behave as how we SHOULD at a fine dinning restaurant? think twice!! that's why, we got the upstairs of the restaurant - ALL to ourselves... hahahah...

so.. WHILE waiting for our food.. we.. well... cam whored... nothing else to do mah!

we know it's getting late.. and it was about 9.30.. still no food... and as u can see, Mr Ku is getting angry... "A Hungry Man, is an ANGRY Man" (or was is the other way round?)

FINALLY!!!! the food started to come.... everyone was relieved...

Bangkok Jazz @ Jln Raja Chulan

after a full tummy... drinks are supposed to wash them down.. so half the team wanted to go to Velvet @ Zouk.. unfortunately, we were abit late and the place were packed.. so.... decided for some nice Jazz music to relax...

though.. because we were late... it was only about an hr or so we spent in Bangkok Jazz till the live band stopped playing...

anyway, some of us had a long day moving the whole department from one corner of the floor to the other corner, so again, half the group went home... we ARE grateful to u guys for moving our stuffs... *muacks*

the rest... moved on to twentyone!

so the final 4 didn't have enough and decided to continue partying at twentyone...

sigh... so when the club started to closed we were exhausted.... luckily the next day was a sunday... a day to recuperate!! hahahah but found out that SOMEone had to take MC for mon and tues.... 3 days to recuperate from clubbing? common bro!!!

but we did promised ourselves that we'll make this a monthly outing... :D

*not sure if it really happened to our agents, but i got this email from one of them....

I had this conversation recently with a lady who swore she had been using computers since forever.

Tech Support: "All right. Now click 'OK'."
Customer: "Click 'OK'?"
Tech Support: "Yes, click 'OK'."
Customer: "Click 'OK'?"
Tech Support: "That's right. Click 'OK'."
Customer: "So I click 'OK', right?"
Tech Support: "Right. Click 'OK'."

Pause.

Customer: "I clicked 'Cancel'."
Tech Support: "YOU CLICKED 'CANCEL'???"
Customer: "That's what I was supposed to do, right?"
Tech Support: "No, you were supposed to click 'OK'."
Customer: "I thought you said to click 'Cancel'."
Tech Support: "NO. I said to click 'OK'."
Customer: "Oh."
Tech Support: "Now we have to start over."
Customer: "Why?"
Tech Support: "Because you clicked 'Cancel'."
Customer: "Wasn't I supposed to click 'Cancel'?"
Tech Support: "No. Forget that. Let's start from the top."
Customer: "Ok."

I spent the next fifteen minutes re-constructing the carefully crafted setup for this lady's unique computer.

Tech Support: "All right. Now, are you ready to click 'OK'?"
Customer: "Yes."
Tech Support: "Great. Now click 'OK'."

Pause.

Customer: "I clicked 'Cancel'."

.....And people wonder why my mouse pad has a target on it labeled "BANG HEAD HERE."

Noreen's Raya Open House

and on the 4th of Oct it was Noreen's house! it was held in the evening.. so at least we can starve ourselves during the day and whack her food in the evening! hahahah.. nah.. we're good guys, we don't finish people's food! LOL...

anyway, her party started at 5pm... but being Malaysians... we always follow Malaysian time... hehehehe.... Noreen's place was in Subang/USJ area... i have no idea where, tht's why i followed Khoo and his gf.... am not like some ppl (psstt... BOSS) who has GPS... hahahah...

(yea.. i know i KNOW.. i got to get a new phone!)

ok so what we had here... hmm.... nasi briani, fried beehoon, chic curry, lamb (yes lamb with mint sauce), sweet n sour fish, squid, chic dish... lots of salad and cakes, and tarts and cookies and did i say more cookies...

(there was supposed to have karaoke session but i left early... not too sure if the rest stayed on but Noreen said her other guests did...

(we also met Noreen's mum who complimented that Boss was a young Boss! hahahaha.... didn't manage to meet her dad though.... all in all, it was a good and short meetup... lovely house Noreen and THANKS for inviting us!

Fauzi's Raya Open House

from Fendi's place... we headed through the horrible jam at the Gombak/Wangsa Maju highway (i have no idea what's it called... MRR2?) towards Ampang.. i think it's Tmn Bukit Indah to be exact.... but Fendi didn't join us as he still had guests coming over to his hse...

we had 3 cars in a convoy to Fauzi's place... and all 3 were stuck in the jam... we had Fauzi to meet us at a meeting point to follow him to his grandparent's place... his hse - no parking... so we went....

grandma's place was cosy... lil kampung house.. no gates or fences, hens running around the gardens, with a scared cat in the hse.... and of course, the food... wonderful... there we had fried beehoon / or meehoon as some ppl call it with nasi briani with chic curry, pickled veg, papadam, lots of drinks and papayas.... AND we were stuffed again! hahaha gosh

had short conversations with grandma and grandpa.... (grandma's chinese btw)... and met Fauzi's parents and lil sister too

then we headed to Fauzi's place because we wanted to see his hse... so... another convoy to his hse which is actually about 5 mins drive.. but then again the traffic jam in Tmn Kosas, Ampang... sigh....

everyone were full and tired from the long day of eating... no funny funny pics here..

at Fauzi's place, we got to know more of his family.. but i think they interviewed us more! LOL hahahahah....but it was all good, at least we got to see the parents of our colleagues! Thanks Fauzi for inviting us!

Fendi's Raya Open House

on the 3rd of Oct, half of the team visited Fendi at his Raya Open House at Tmn Melawati.

most of us came on time and started to eat before the rest reached.. but that's fine.. heheh... as u can see everyone was happy to start eating.. hahaha...

why we were stuffed? because there was tomato rice, with chic rendang, serunding with ketupat and lemang, some veg dish... oh.. and for dessert, choc cake, layer cake, cookies, dodol and god knows what else... THAT's why we were stuffed! hahahaha

so before we bore ourselves and watched Transformers like the millionth time, we decided to cam whore.. hahahahah
