Bottles were popped
Toasts we made
Who would have thought that Dlink would get played
Emotions were mixed as though we were all jinxed
Who knew true friendship would show its ugly head
Loyalty and Gratitude is as good as dead
Years of fellowship and hardships we felt
Some how there were some people left
United we stand divided we fall
Its a mystery how some didnt get the call
Its the end of the era ...wer are now expired
RIP Dlink...it was good while it lasted

The game is almost over
Leaves everyone with a poser
What happens when we lose the power and become anothers soldier
Needing to fight a new battle, needing to put the pedal to the metal
Feeling of uncertainty , creeps within
Taking some of us for a ghastly spin
MS T2 is what its called
Damn I sure hope we dont get conned

everything has to come to an end.. UNfortunately

21st JULY 2008

the great Beer, Lamb, Chicks feast!

suddenly the team had a craving for food and drinks... and our self-acclaimed-pro chefs wanted to play with fire.. hense the beer, lamb and chicks

Andrew was our guy who voluntered to book his appartment BBQ-pit for the venue and we all paid our share for the food and drinks. Andrew's team went shopping earlier and marinated everything, it turned out to be wonderful!! everyone had positive comments to the chef - Andrew and Earl

the night went by smoothly, some came early to help, come came late, some over slept....

up up away in the hills!

it was the last few days for some of us, so we decided to have an outing - team outing but Sdn Bhd... so those who were interested joined in

we went to Colmar Tropicale in Bukit Tinggi for some sight-seeing, after a few (lots actually) emails, we had 3 cars going up to Bkt Tinggi. we met at the office after the q closed, then went to McD on the way for lunch and headed to our destination

unfortunately when we reached there it was raining, luckily not that heavy, but our hair and baju got wet abit... soon after it stopped and the sun sort of came out to say hi! being quite high up sea level, the weather there was "supposed" to be cooler, but it didn't really make any difference. it was cloudy, air was clean... nice in deed

after camera whoring around the French Village, we headed to the Japanese Garden, nice and calm and very nature like place... was supposed to go to the Rabbit Farm but only 3 of us went as it was getting late

all in all, it was a good day trip with good friends, laughter, chatting and eating... hope to have more outings like this soon!

it was that time again for a big makan for the team... nice choice this time! lots of seafood, oysters, japanese food, chinese, indian, malay, pasta... my my....

eventhough we didn't "sweep" all titles, at least we were nominated and some of us won something. CONGRATULATIONS to those who won and keep on trying for those who are in new jobs/different dept - more pics here

those who have left

some how there was a vibe for some of us to leave, i guess time was up as most of us have been already 1 year in the team... no progression, no choice - leave.... but it's good that everyone who left, left for a better job... so it's all good...

up in the SKY!

another outing for the Dlinkers and this time, up in KL Tower @ the Revolving Restaurant... since we are always having makan trips on the ground, why not we have buffet LUNCH in the AIR! cool eh?

easter monday was an off day but we were called in for half day training and then went for makan in the air. so from the office, we carpool-ed and went to KL Tower.
